In contrast to its international competitors, the hotel in Stuttgart, Germany, is run by a mother-daughter power team: With their first names, Emilia and Luise, manifested in the name EmiLu, the entire project has been deeply personal to its founders from the start. A 1960s government administration building has been meticulously transformed into a strikingly inviting space with 90 rooms, 11 suites, spa and lounge areas totaling more than 4,000 square metres. While EmiLu is distinctly modern, each room is individually designed with bold colors and a vibrant mix of vintage collectibles and custom furnishings, creating an atmosphere that is never boring and as unique as its guests.

Translating the spirit of EmiLu into an audible experience has been a fun and exciting endeavor for us. We drew a lot of inspiration from the hotel's aesthetic, which playfully blends mid-century classics and contemporary design to be stylish and effortless at the same time. The custom soundtrack that plays 24/7 in the hotel's public spaces reflects EmiLu's colorful and modern identity and sets the right mood for guests to feel at home. Combining casual, indie-inspired tracks with sophisticated sounds from the world of electronic music and funky treasures, our music selection always matches the time of day, providing the perfect backdrop from early morning until late at night. Whether you are having breakfast at the fantastic Fritz Restaurant or having a drink at the bar, you can always discover new tracks and enjoy the vibe.
