In-Store Music by HearDis! for the Porsche Design Stores Worldwide
The name Porsche stands for timeless design and innovative technology. That goes for the German sport car manufacturer as well as the creations of its subsidiary Porsche Design. In contrast to the sophisticated interior of the Porsche Design stores, their in-store music did not live up to the high aesthetic standards of the brand. A limited and rarely updated selection of music with many repetitions left a monotonous and dated impression.
Porsche Design therefore commissioned HearDis! to optimize their in-store music. We developed a comprehensive music profile that seamlessly fits the brand’s audio branding concept. It divides into three categories that reflect the core attributes of the brand: quality, zeitgeist and elegance.


Three Music Profiles
The quality and high value of Porsche Design products corresponds to timeless, perfectly crafted pop music in the tradition of classic songwriting. The company’s innovative power and its sense for zeitgeist are reflected in the idea of music as a design object, which we find in electronic music from electropop to house. The elegance reflected by high standards in product design finally is staged with cosmopolitan sounds, instrumented at the highest level.

A consistent sonic image
Our concept results in an unique combination of diverse music styles, precisely tailored to the brand. We deliver our mix to 28 Porsche Design stores worldwide with our in-store music player. In addition to the PoS, the HearDis! in-store music concept is also used to search music titles for Porsche design online videos. This allows us to ensure a consistent sonic image and strengthen the brand identification on a musical level.
