HearDis! Adds a Brand Radio to its Product Portfolio
Companies such as Hugo Boss, Birkenstock or Gant already enjoy the tailor-made in-store music curated by HearDis! Our clients are won over by those surprising gems beyond the mainstream catalogue we identify and by the seamless music flow we are able to create.
No wonder more and more of our retailers are voicing the desire to share these special playlists with their customers. This widespread opinion led to the idea of developing a browser-based brand radio. After a testing phase at the trendy bar Tatti, since early this year, gin manufacturer Monkey 47 and interior designer Vitra benefit from a brand radio on a larger scale.

A Seamless Solution for Single Stores and Stockists
Sharing the in-store music programme with their customers, however, is not the main objective of the brand radio. Rather, the newly added product was conceived for B2B purposes: brands are now able to offer to their stockists or outlets a professional in-store music solution which integrates an innovative advertising medium.
Optional jingles and a customized player design enable an audio and visual branding. The brand this way benefits from the reciprocal marketing effects from its resellers while end users and stores or stockists can enjoy a professionally curated music selection. This means that single stores do not need to invest into creating their own in-store music profile, but rather take advantage of a programme already sponsored by a brand.
The music is streamed through a browser on a desktop computer, laptop or tablet. This simple - and foremost legal - solution serves a large target group currently relying on unauthorised Spotify playlists, private music collections or the local radio stations.

Early Adopters: Monkey 47 and Vitra
After a short testing phase, gin manufacturer Monkey 47 was so pleased with the music stream, that it decided to make the "Funky Monkey Radio" a permanent feature in its marketing set. The extraordinary mix of music spectrum - be it folk or indie pop, chanson or disco - can be used by bars or retailers according to their specific products’ range. Additionally, the brand radio can be used for temporary PoS concepts such as pop-up stores. The programme is branded with the gin’s typical slogan "certainly wunderbar" and is integrated into the Monkey 47 homepage.
Vitra, designer of individual living spaces, is too greatly satisfied with the brand radio’s concept. In this case, Vitra decided not to integrate the radio into its website, but to offer it solely to resellers of its unique furniture. Vitra’s retailers today use the brand radio as an innovative advertising medium and professional in-store music solution.
