Danish producer and DJ Kasper Bjørke recorded a cover version of "Bette Davis Eyes" together with singer Jacob Bellens in his Copenhagen studio. The song, originally released by DeShannon in 1975, became a worldwide success when Kim Carnes released her interpretation in the early 1980s.
In 1982, "Africa" was one of the greatest hits by Toto, the US rock band around keyboarder David Paich. Russian DJ, producer and singer Nina Kraviz created her very own version of the song in her studio in Berlin.
Stockholm based synthpop duo Kate Boy finally remixed "A Girl Like You". The song by Scottish singer-songwriter Edwyn Collins with Sex Pistols drummer Paul Cook on the vibraphone was a major hit in 1994 after it was featured in the long forgotten b-movie Empire Records.
