Our New York-based colleague Justin Carter, well-known as initiator of the Mister Saturday Night party series and co-founder of the eponymous label, has spent the last five years working on his debut. The result: “The Leaves Fall”. An intimate, almost meditative album which was created in collaboration with Jason Lindner, pianist on David Bowie’s last album “Black Star” and Greg Heffernan, co founder of Archie Pelago, on the cello.
