HearDis!

HearDis! is a Berlin and Stuttgart based agency for Corporate Sound founded in 2005 by Felix Haaksman and Robin Hofmann.

Services include the conception of acoustic brand strategies and the realisation of corporate sound. Further activities are consulting and supervising music for online, offline and on-air media as well as rights clearing and licensing of musical content.

In 2007 HearDis! expanded their services to the sector of Instore Music at the Point of Sale (PoS).

The mission of HearDis! is to provide companies and brands with an unique and consistent acoustic identity.

Felix Haaksman

For many years Felix Haaksman is active in the world of music and sound. As a music producer for numerous records, CD's and remixes he was increasingly responsible for the music of advertising campaigns and films. In 2005 after his engineering graduation in media technology he founded the company HearDis! Corporate Sound along with Robin Hofmann.

Apart from his role as a managing director, Felix is in charge as the Head of Production and is responsible for the trouble free progress of projects. He has furthermore a strong emphasis on the sector Audio Branding and is the contact person for licensing and copyright issues.

Felix Haaksman

For many years Felix Haaksman is active in the world of music and sound. Robin Hofmann

During his Communication Design studies at the Merz Akademie in Stuttgart, Robin Hofmann already has been working in various advertising agencies and design studios. In 1997 he started to work as a Freelancer and served various clients in the field of print and online.

During this time he was Djing a lot and in 1999 he founded with three friends the music producer team Dublex Inc. and a year later the record label Pulver Records. Many highly acclaimed music productions, international releases and various Dj appearances all over the globe followed.
Since then, new challenges were lying in the artist and label management, the license right and in the planning of events and tours. During this time Robin was already taking care for numerous commercial music projects and advertising campaigns. Founding the company HearDis! Corporate Sound in the year 2005 was a logical step to expand those activities.

At HearDis! Robin Hofmann is responsible for conceptual work, the divisions Instore Music and Music Events. Furthermore he's a lecturer for acoustic brand management at the Design Academy Berlin as well as for media design at the DHBW Ravensburg.

Robin Hofmann

Meike Frank

Meike Frank works as a project manager with the focus on Instore Music, Music Licensing and GEMA. She already has worked for HearDis! during her studies in history of art as well as Italian language and literature.

Andreas "Freddy" Koulakiotis

Andreas “Freddy” Koulakiotis already focussed on the world of music back in the 80's. As “Dj Freddy” he made a name for himself in various legendary clubs in south Germany. From 1993 until 1998 he's been running a well assorted cd and record store. “Freddys Records” have had big influence and a large impact to music lovers of all ages. The record store became a legend in the south german music scene.

Since 2008 Freddy is employed as a music consultant for HearDis!. His large music knowledge teams up with his daily capabilities to search and find exciting music for various projects. Freddy is also responsible for categorising and archiving the huge amount of music HearDis! is working with. He's furthermore consulting and supervising clients in the sector Instore Music and is the right person to find music for CD Compilations, Videos, etc.

A lover of music in all its various forms, Justin currently co-owns New Release, a company that produces music-related events at spaces ranging from underground lofts to esteemed cultural centers like the Museum of Modern Art. Additionally, New Release publishes a weekly editorial rundown of music-related events in New York. Justin also regularly DJs alongside his partner Eamon Harkin, with whom he owns New Release.

In past lives, Justin Carter launched the record label for Nublu, a musical institution based on the Lower East Side of Manhattan; and he headed up the musical programming for APT when the club was in its heyday as a staple of New York nightlife. He has produced and performed at events for Saatchi and Saatchi, Nokia, The Gorillaz, and The Museum of Natural History and featuring acts ranging from Vampire Weekend to David Byrne to Grandmaster Flash.

His experience and expertise in the music business is an excellent enrichment to the global activities of HearDis!.
