Once again, HearDis! created the ringtones for the new HUGO BOSS' mobile phone by Samsung.

To complement the timeless and plain design of the phone, all functional sounds were developed to have a rather classy than invasive character. A variety of micro-compositions in the form of SMS-, Ring-, and Wakeup-Tones can be selected from different musical sets by the user.

The Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week closing party: This is where Berlins fashion-crowd meets and celebrates the last day of the fashion-madness. Designers, models, photographers, stylists and fashion aficionados will take all of their left energy and dance till the sunrise. Heardis! creative director Robin Hofmann will support this happening with his Dj-Set. It takes place at the KTV (Chausseestr. 36, 10115 Berlin-Mitte) on January the 21st.

Music Production for Online Video Show

HUGO BOSS has just started a new online video show about fashion, lifestyle music and art. Each of these ten minute shows features two internationally renowned characters that meet and talk about touching incidents.

The first episode of the HUGO BOSS TALK series takes place in Berlin and is starring Creative & Brand Director Womenswear Eyan Allen and Yukimi Nagano, the singer of the swedish band Little Dragon. HearDis! delivered a tasteful music theme for this classy video portrait. HUGO BOSS TALK can be seen on HUGO BOSS TV as well as on the company's YouTube channel.

Nike Catch The Flash

Sound Design for online campaign

On November the 14th Nike is starting the game "Catch the Flash" through the dark streets and alleys of Vienna.

The new Nike Vapor Flash jackets used for this chase are special designed, so that road users can recognize the runners early enough by the strong reflectivity of the jacket’s material. Nike exclusively provided the back of these flashy jackets with numbers. Whoever takes the most pictures with various backnumbers will secure the prize.

If you personally can't hunt the runners (among them many celebrities such as for example Bianca Schwarzjirg or Andrea Mayr) you have the opportunity to do so online as well, by setting traps with the aid of a city map and collect points when one of those runners crossed that traps. The prizes are ten Nike-Running packages, going to the ten hunters with the most points.

As a part of this spectacular action, HearDis! was responsible for the conception and production of the entire sound design for both the microsite and the integrated online game.

Music selection and licensing

The Stuttgart based agency Liganova created a remarkable POS-roadshow for their client Tommy Hilfiger. An eye-catching small cottage was built in famous places and important sights all over Europe. This modular building, reminiscent of an East Hampton Cottage, is incorporating a Tommy-showroom.

HearDis! took care of the acoustic part and selected the song “Horses” by New York based band Bronze for the background music of the promotional video.

HearDis! Loves Little Dragon

... and proves once again it has its finger on the pulse.

In June HUGO launched a collaboration with the Swedish band, Little Dragon, for its HUGO Tracks project. The partnership got underway when a live performance by Yukimi, Eric, Håkan und Fredrik kicked off the after-party for the HUGO Spring/Summer 2012 Fashion Show in Berlin.

Aside from live gigs from the band, the focus of the project with Little Dragon has been set on exclusive video features and content: on the HUGO Lifestyle Blog you can find new tracks, videos, background stories, exclusive releases and news about Little Dragon.

HearDis! is guiding this long-term artist project from top to bottom, developing the overall concept, selecting the artists, realizing the nuances of the collaboration as well as producing the video content for the client.

Choosing Little Dragon proves the fine instinct and keen sense of intuition of the HearDis! music consultants: One week after Little Dragon's most recent album, Ritual Union, was released, it debuted in the worldwide top 10 charts as well as number 1 in the iTunes electronic charts in the US and UK.

The successful collaboration of HUGO with newcomers on the music scene will be continued, and the next band is already waiting in the wings. Stay tuned…

"Way Back Home" by Bag Raiders

HearDis! Corporate Sound and its subsidiary, PlayDis!, were appointed by the production company Radical Media to select music for German Vodafone’s new spot, “Escape”. With the previous German Vodafone campaign catapulting Empire of the Sun's “We Are The People” into a #1 chart position, PlayDis!'s selection needed the emotional power and anthemic qualities that would be an appropriate followup. They found that and more in “Way Back Home”, a song by the Australian band, Bag Raiders.

The advertisement, directed by Sebastian Strasser and supervised by Jung Von Matt, hit the airwaves at the end of April – just in time for Bag Raiders to begin its European tour.

Music Concept for Stiftung KinderHerz

KunstHerzen Baden-Württemberg is an initiative of the KinderHerz Fund (Stiftung KinderHerz), which gives a voice to children with congenital cardiac defect. As a project to bring attention to the organization and its work, more than 50 artists from Baden-Württemberg – among them Daniel Wagenblast, Thomas Putze, Diane von Württemberg, Susanna Messerschmidt, Isa Dahl, Jan Peter Tripp, Xianwei Zhu, Gert Wiedmaier and Menja Stevenson – have created hearts made of terracotta. These art-hearts will be exhibited April 1 to April 25, 2011.

HearDis! is supporting this event with music programming for the opening ceremony. A compilation of songs that combine atmospheric and powerful sounds that integrate rhythms of a heartbeat reflects the theme of the exhibition.

In association with the Stuttgart-based Projecttriangle, HearDis! has composed music for the online presence of Mono, a new Formula One-style car from the British automobile company, Briggs.

The highway-ready, one-seated racing machine, which is both technically and optically remarkable, called for a futuristic and epic tone, something we had a lot of fun creating in the studio.

Music selection and licensing for online video

For the Big Finals of the Stairset Battle Tour, 9 qualified tour winners battled it out against 9 of the world’s best jibbers in an epic contest. Finishing a successful tour throughout Europe, this was the final battle in front of an amazing crowd at Nike 6.0 Air & Style 2011 in Munich’s Olympic Stadium.

The video is scored by the track “Horses” by Brooklyn based Indietronic band Bronze. HearDis! was responsible for music selection and the entire licensing process.

"The Snobs" nominated for German television prize

Since 1964 the “German Emmys” are the most highly acclaimed TV awards in Germany. The awards honor extraordinary outcome in medium television and at the same time they serve as examples regarding content and method. Whereas other awards are associated with glamour and money, this prize is concerned with quality TV made in Germany.

We are more than happy with the nomination of “Die Snobs” (Directed by Max Luz, Screenplay and Produced by Janna Nandzik) for which HearDis! has done a high quality score and title theme.

The winners will be announced on March 16th and we are so curious about it!

Instore Music - Unique and feminine

s.Oliver has opened its first store for accessories only in Frankfurt. The store is located in the MyZeil shopping center on Frankfurt's most popular shopping street. It is decorated with individual vintage furniture, such as a leather column bench or little wooden tables where the products are displayed. The music was hand picked and compiled by HearDis! with loving attention to all these details, supporting the individual and feminine character of the store.
